My Story
This piece follows a young woman navigating a futuristic city inspired by traditional Chinese architecture. Through two environmental shots, she moves from the vibrant energy of a neon-lit metropolis to the quiet stillness of sunrise, symbolizing her journey of self-discovery and the balance between past and future.
My Inspiration
I was inspired by the contrast between traditional Chinese architecture and futuristic city design. Drawing influence from Mirror's Edge, Arcane, and East Asian concept art, I explored the relationship between neon lighting and soft dawn colors to create a world that feels both modern and timeless. The shift from cool neon tones to warm sunrise hues reflects themes of chaos and calm, movement and reflection.
